Our New Nordic Products for Christmas 2020
Although there are bigger things to think about at the moment other than planning for Christmas, sometimes it’s nice to have a distraction - and we have some great new products to help you!
We are very excited about our new range of pure powders from Arctic Power Berries. Where do we start with these guys? We love berry powders for their health benefits, which are many and we will list below, but we also love this company. Like us, they are run by two entrepreneurial friends who want to bring the very best of Finnish culture to the UK.
Why powder over fresh berries we hear you ask! Well, berry powder actually contains all the same benefits of a fresh berry, just in a dry form- handy. These powders are made with wild harvested berries that are matured in long hours of daylight from the Finnish midnight sun (that’s when Finland gets 24 hours of sun during its summer). This makes them naturally richer in antioxidants and vitamins than cultivated berries. Plus, dried lasts longer so much more convenient in your cupboard!
These powders can be used in a variety of ways and have many benefits including…
- High in vitamins
- High in fibre – Good for digestion
- Antioxidant rich
- High in nutrients, flavonoids and vitamins
- Promotes healthy, glowing skin and hair
- Only natural sugars
- Helps in weight loss
- No pesticides or sprays used
- Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian friendly
Sprinkle them on your breakfast, have them in a smoothie or try something more adventurous (more recipes coming your way soon so watch this space). Or… why not create the perfect hamper for your health conscious, yet taste loving, friends or family for Christmas?
Nordic Prints and Postcards
We are all about putting a bit of Nordic in your bellies, but we also want to deliver Nordic style and we think our new range of prints and postcards do just that! These have all been designed by Essi Peltoniemi, she is a Finnish designer who we adore. The prints come in two sizes 30x40cm and 50x70cm; they have been digitally printed on high-quality 200 gram matte paper in Finland. The postcards are printed on 300g card paper with address lines and blank space for a written message on the reverse. How about sending these out for Christmas this year instead of cards? Or just send one to someone you haven’t seen in a while - we all have a few of those at the moment.
