T’is the season for a little indulgence, and to be honest with the year we’ve all had we deserve it. However, Christmas can often leave you feeling a little bloated! Here are some ways you can beat the Christmas binge with berries….

Wild Blueberry Chia Pudding

Rather than reaching for a croissant in the morning during the festive season, why don’t you try this amazing blueberry chia pudding. Blueberries can be great for restoring the liver, they are also naturally rich in antioxidants (particularly anthocyanin) that can support the immune system and prevent infections.

100 ml thick plant-based milk such as oat milk or coconut milk
½ tbsp sweetener of choice such as maple syrup
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 heaped tsps of Arctic Power Berries Wild Blueberry powder
¼ tsp vanilla bean powder
Chosen toppings

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and let thicken for about 10-30 minutes. Enjoy this chia pudding with toppings of choice or add it to smoothies, porridge, overnight oats or a simple yogurt bowl.

Seabuckthorn Smoothie Bowl

Seabuckthorn is 12 times higher in vitamin C than an orange, making it the perfect immune boost over Christmas. This smoothie bowl is the perfect snack or morning treat! Seabuckthorn is an excellent plant source for Omega 3, 6, 9, and 7 fatty acids. These support a healthy cardiovascular function and digestive system - needed after too much turkey!

1 frozen banana
50 g frozen cauliflower or frozen courgette
Half an orange
Squeeze of lemon
100 ml thick plant-based yogurt
1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice
2 tsp Arctic Power Berries Sea Buckthorn powder

Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Enjoy with toppings of choice such as Arctic Power Berries berry powder sprinkled on top, slices of orange and quinoa pops.

Blackcurrant Smoothie Bowl

Blackcurrants have traditionally been used in treating cold and flu symptoms - perfect for these winter months. They can also support digestion - did someone eat too much cheese!

100g frozen strawberries
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup cold brew coffee
1 cup almond milk
2 tsp Arctic Berries Blackcurrant Powder
Tbsp raw cacao powder
1 scoop chocolate protein

Place all of the ingredients into your blender and blitz until smooth and creamy. Serve topped with a generous sprinkling of granola, another sprinkle of berry powder and enjoy!
